a lunatic and of the
China Order in Council 1904, Artiole 102 and of the Lunatics' Removal
(India) Act, 1851 (14 and 16 Vict. cap. 81)
I, the undersigned SKINNER TURNER, Acting Judge of His
Britannic Majesty's Supreme Court for China and a Judicial Authority
for the purposes of the Lunacy Act 53 and 54 Vict. Cap. 5 upon the
petition of ANTHONY HASTINGS GEORGE, British Vice-Consul, Shanghai,
accompanied by the Certificates of B. L. Marsh and J. E. Murray, two
duly qualified medical Practitioners, am satisfied that SIDNEY LIVESEY
is a lunatic and that there being no suitable place, Asylum or other-
wise, in China where he can be properly confined and cared for, he ought
to be removed to England.
In pursuance of Beation 5 of the above Act I accordingly
appoint No. 955 SERGEANT R.MCKECHNIE, R.A.M.C., Keeper of the said
SIINTY LIVESEY for the purpose of conveying him to England by the
8. 8. "Professor" Steamship Charles Rowland Jackson Master leaving
Shanghai on or about the 22nd, of May, 1920, and I declare that the
Baid SIDNEY LIVESEY ought to be so removed and I order that he be so
removed accordingly.
